Is my donation/shirt order tax deductible?

Yes! I Give a Shirt, Inc. is registered as exempt from Federal income tax under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code - EIN# 81-4183600.

How do you choose charities?

The causes we align with are thoroughly vetted and must be creating positive impact in one of our focus areas: Poverty, clean water, hunger, medical, disaster relief, ending slavery, human empowerment, and protection of the environment. We look at their biggest needs, how they spend their money, and we also ask them to complete a follow-up questionnaire after receiving any funds from a I Give a Shirt so we know how the funding was used.

How do I help bring awareness to your causes?

Each order helps bring awareness to the monthly cause one shirt at a time. We are so grateful for all who share I Give a Shirt and its causes with their friends and family through social media and word of mouth. I own a business. Can I get involved?

You sure can! I Give a Shirt is committed to help hard-working small business owners deepen the genuine connections with their customers and the causes that matter most to them. Who designs the shirts?

Our shirt designs are designed by independent, talented artists from around the world that put their souls into their art. For our monthly subscribers, you will receive a limited-edition, numbered 5x7 print of a given month's design with the artist’s name.

How do the sizes run?

Our shirts are longer by design in both the Unisex and Ladies. The ladies sizes runs small, as it would be considered a fashion fit.

What is my shirt made of?

Printed on Allmade Apparel's Tri-blend garments unique and proprietary blend is built from 50% Repreve® polyester from recycled plastic; 25% organic, US grown, combed, ring spun cotton; and 25% TENCEL™ Modal. Each shirt uses 6 recycled poly water bottles and all fabric is spun, knitted, processed and finished in the USA. Cut and sewn for a Living Wage in Haiti.

Is my shirt ethically manufactured?

Safe and comfortable working conditions are a fundamental right. Our partners at Allmade is dedicated to a transparent supply chain and ethical production standards. This is setting the new standard in the industry that most of us think of as the water polluting, sweatshop industry.

By purchasing I Give a Shirt’s cause apparel, manufactured by Allmade, you can help provide more living wage jobs in Haiti. Allmade is committed to paying living wages and providing dignified work. They abide by strict labor laws, for the best interest of their employees. At their manufacturing facility in Haiti, Allmade offers more than 3x the going rate for like jobs in the area, health benefits, and paid holidays to their employees.

Can I gift a subscription box?

Yes, you can gift the subscription that keeps giving! During the checkout process, simply check the box “This is a gift” and input the address of the recipient in the shipping section. You will be able to choose when this gifting subscription will start, and for how long will it be active and you will be billed. (1, 3, 6, or 12 months)

Do you ship internationally?

For all shipments outside of the Continental U.S., there is an additional cost of $6.00 USD per shipment, to help us offset the additional cost of shipping to these international areas.

When will my shirt/subscription ship each month?

Your shirt will ship approximately two weeks after the close of a campaign month. After shipment, it can take anywhere from 2-7 days to arrive. If we ever run into any delays, we will always work to communicate the delays so that you know when to expect your item to arrive.

What if my shirt doesn’t fit/is defective?

We are so sorry to hear the shirt wasn’t perfect! If the shirt you receive is defective or doesn’t fit, please email [email protected] within 1 week after receiving the shirt and we will do all we can to assist you in getting the item replaced. Please note, the shirts are limited-edition and we only print one additional run for the purposes of replacement shirts. If you don’t contact us right away, you might miss this replacement window.

I never received my shipment. Who do I contact?

We are so sorry to hear that! If your shipment does not arrive within 2 weeks after you receive the shipment notification, please email [email protected] and we will do all we can to assist you in getting the item replaced.

How do I pause/cancel my subscription?

If you are on a month-to-month subscription, you can log into your account by clicking “Subscriber Login” on the bottom of each page of our website. Login with the email address that you created your account with, and your original password. Once logged in, you can cancel your subscription or choose to skip a month at any time.
